IROKO Fun Day uses simple creative and expressive oral storytelling, music and movement activities as a vehicle to enhance the Personal, Social and Emotional Development of children.
Activities involve interactive and introductory storytelling and/or drumming and movement performance, followed by hands-on drumming workshops incorporating movement, songs, games and popular nursery rhymes set to traditional African rhythms. Workshops also encourage child/parent/adult bonding and interaction and help to create and understanding of how our innovative and fun teaching methods can be integrated into the overall education of children.
