Opportunity for skills development and participation in fun and creative activities.
The project provided families opportunity to participate in a range of fun, creative and inter-generational activities. Through performances and exhibitions, local people learnt more about the African community. Ten local people from diversed fields gained EDI Business and Administration qualifications and National Open College Network accredited certificates in performing arts. They gained confidence and self-esteem through participation in various activities e.g. carrying out research, helping to organise the exhibitions and public performances, etc.
“The project provided an harmonious environment where all attendees both enjoyed, benefited and engaged in the community event”.
