Tailor-made for each particular age range, the fun, participatory and creative workshops will use various expressive art forms – drama, movement, music, songs, dance, etc., to introduce participants to African oral storytelling performance techniques.
The hands-on, inclusive and fun activities enable participants to use the above-mentioned elements of storytelling to explore African fables, myths or legends through devised and textual activities. The exploits and characteristics of various African tricksters are also explored.
