We believe that everyone should be valued and should have access to inclusive, stimulating and inspiring creative arts activities that enable them to express themselves. That is why we run series of fun and friendly workshops that give voices to people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Our interactive activities are tailor-made to suit the abilities of the individual whilst also bringing together individuals in a communal celebration of music and dance in which they can participate at their own level.
The aim of the workshop activities is to enable participants to express themselves to the best of their abilities. Activities are carried out in a friendly and non-judgemental environmental. Our experienced workshop leaders are sensitive to each pupil’s particular need. We adapt our resources according to need such as using hand-held drums and sekeres alongside djembes and integrating familiar songs and participants’ names and dance moves into the activities.
